Our 2022 Bud Harrelson Award Honoree, Alex Bateman of Ruskin, Moscou, Faltischek, P.C., is a caring neighbor and eager supporter, who puts great energy into giving back to his communities. His ties to Sister Pat and Mercy Haven run deep, beginning at St. Patrick's Grammar School where he attended as a student and S. Pat as a teacher.

He is a vocal advocate of our services for crisis populations, spreading the word and introducing us to others, including his family who are active volunteers, and his firm, who support us throughout the year.

His care for bettering his communities doesn't stop there, acting as Board Chair and member of the Executive Committee of the United Way of Long Island, and acting as an active parishioner with his wife Maureen at Our Lady of the Snow Parish in Blue Point. Lifelong Long Islanders, Alex and Maureen raised three sons and are 30 year residents of Bayport.
